Vacancy

 

Vacancy is a thriller film starring Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsale as a married couple whose car broke down in the middle of nowhere. The situation led them to spend a night in an isolated motel nearby. Soon after checking in, they noticed that there were video surveillance in their room and they were about to be the next victims of a murder which would be filmed in the same way as the previous unfortunate occupants of the room in this creepy motel. It turns out that the hotel manager was a mastermind of this killing scheme.

This is just in time for Mother’s Day in Thailand – the movie about a lovely mom and her daughters. However, it is one of the typical Hollywood romantic comedy films with mother-daughter relationship on the poster so you couldn’t get your hope much for sentimental moment to share with your mother if you take her to watch the film with you. Expect some or a few laughter instead.

The Number 23 is a suspense thriller movie starring Jim Carrey and directed by Joel Schumacher. It’s a strange and mysterious story of a man who found himself reading a book of unknown writer. The book related a lot of intrigued stories about the number 23. The more he read, the more he got hooked with the book as the story seemed familiar to him – as if it told a story about his life.

Kirsten Dunst portrays the legendary Queen of France Marie-Antoinette in the film written and directed by Sofia Coppola. In fact, the film is loosely based on the historical biography Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser, which retells the story of Marie-Antoinette from her arranged marriage with Louis XVI at the age of 14 to her reign as the Queen of France and ultimately the fall of Versailles.

Ghost Rider

 

This dark superhero film is adapted from a famous comic book with the same name from Marvel Comics. It tells a story of a motorcycle stunt rider who inadvertently trade his soul with a devil in order to save his father’s life from cancer only to know that it’s useless as his father passed away because of the motorcycle accident the next morning. Many years pass by and he becomes a Ghost Rider bound by the contract with the devil. However, he doesn’t submit himself to the devil and use the power against the devil himself.
