Live Earth

 

Live Earth is a 24-hour musical event that would take place on 7 continents around the globe. With more than 100 music artists including Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Linkin Park, the series of concerts aim to promote people’s awareness of global warming and world climate crisis.

The list of the venues of the concerts is as follow: The Mall in Washington D.C. and Giants Stadium in New York, the U.S.; Wembley Stadium in London, the U.K.; Aussie Stadium in Sydney, Australia; Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Coca Cola Dome in Randburg near Johannesburg, South Africa; Makuhari Messe in Tokyo, Japan; the Steps of the Oriental Pearl Tower in Shanghai, China; and HSH Nordbank Arena in Hamburg, Germany. The concerts will be broadcast live on over 120 television networks around the world and via the internet at www.LiveEarth.MSN.com.
