Transformers

Transformers is one of the most awaited film of the year. With Steven Spielberg as an executive producer and Michael Bay as a director, this action film is based on 1988 animation and toy franchise of Hasbro company. Transformers tells a story of the war between two transformable robot groups, the heroic Autobots led by Optimus Prime and the evil Decepticons led by Megatron. The movie integrates the original comic story with more realistic plot for human cast, creating a breathtaking and fast-paced action flick full of fabulous visual effects.

I really enjoyed the movie. It’s my childhood dream comes true with all Transformers robots actually transform on the screen. The credit goes to the team at Industrial Light & Magic company which supplied the extensive computer animation. The script pays extensive tribute to the original Transformers animation series with clever in-jokes and enjoyable dialogues. The action sequences are fast and exciting. Some scenes, especially the final battle, are so fast that you have to stay fully focus on the movie or you might get lost of what’s going on.

All in all, I just love the movie as I am a fan of Transformers franchise. With various sponsors and movie tie-in marketing campaign including comics, toys and video games, the film is supposed to be fail safe.

5 Stars out of 5 – recommend to Transformers and action movie fans alike.
